Fred Connors approached Breakhouse to reinvent a 1960s bank into a hybrid Salon, Café and Gallery. Breakhouse created a hot spot destination with something for all the senses. The success has added cultural vibrancy to the neighbourhood; Fred was a key instigator in the now surging revitalization of Halifax’s eclectic North End district, spurring other entrepreneurs to invest in the area.
